This was just what I needed! Feathers gives you that resort feel without having to get on a plane. I had the Relaxation Massage Express with Hot Stones. It was perfect! I also took advantage of the sauna and steam room.

On a weekend staycation, I decided to book a one hour deep tissue massage at Feathers. Here's the tea:
The good: The booking was smooth, the facilities are upscale. The locker room is clean and sanitized. Each customer gets a locker in which to leave their personal belongings and a robe/slippers to don. Champagne, water, or mimosas are offered, which you can sip on on a private waiting room (which seemed more like a meditation room, honestly). There's only one piece of paperwork to complete, which asks the general question: areas to focus on or avoid, medical issues, medicines, etc.. I have a dedicated massage therapist that I see several times a month, and it took me roughly 20 years to find her, so I expected the massage to be underwhelming (the bar is quite high!). It wasn't (underwhelming). The rooms are very tranquil, serene and well appointed. The therapist took me back in a timely manner (even though I had arrived 30 minutes early) and the massage itself was very good (my massage therapist was Lisa and she was very in tune with my body and what needed more or less pressure. She was lovely, as well. Following service(s), I was welcomed to use the dry or wet saunas, offered another drink, and not at all rushed.
The bad: The spa is expensive (it's at the Peabody, so that's to be expected).
All in all, I'll stick with the therapist I have, but it's worth the treat if you're staying at the hotel and want to treat yo' self.Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 1 - April G.Mendenhall, MS03Mar 31, 2023
My husband and I drove 6 hours to celebrate our anniversary at the Peabody. We had a 90 minute couples massage booked for 4:15. At 2:30 the spa canceled us due to the weather. We explained our trip and the distance we traveled. Not only did they send up complimentary champagne and cheese board, they rescheduled us for a complimentary service first thing the next morning! Deborah and Lisa gave us an AMAZING treatment, one of the best massages we've had! We will definitely be back. Thank you, Feathers Spa, for the unbeatable customer service and the perfect start to our day!

Really loved my time here! Walked in to a really clean spa and nice receptionist, got changed into my robe with my wife and enjoyed mimosas and spa water.
We were there for an hour long relaxation couples massage, our therapists were some of the best you
Could possibly get, walked out feeling like a brand new man! Would highly recommend coming and seeing for yourself. I will definitely be back again!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Lori E.Memphis, TN17683300Jun 24, 2021
What a week it's been! I couldn't wait to have my hot stone massage on Sunday. This was my first time visiting Feathers! I was truly impressed. The ambiance is everything. It's quaint, cozy and just the calm you need before and after you've had a massage. My masseuse was Deborah and she was AHMAAAAZING! I think they have heated tables which added to the relaxation for me. I also love that they have a discount club (Feathered Friends) for folks who either live or work downtown. They offer a beverage service of water, soda, mimosa or champagne. I had the best time ever and can see why it's called Feathers! I'll definitely be back REAL SOON to try another service. #RELAXATION #SELFCARE

This was a fail. I called days ahead of my stay at the Peabody and arranged a facial and a massage. Both were the worst I have ever had. I thought about this a lot and do not say it lightly. I estimated I have had 10 massages a year for 15 years - so 150 massages. About the same fo facials. SO out of 300 services,, the two I had at Feathers were THE WORST: Here's my description:
Worst massage Ever: HAZE runs her fingernails down my back for 60 minutes. drops the wet towels at least three times, takes 2 breaks to leave the room, is so completely amped up she is shaking, and her deep sighs as she mans the steamy towel station (before dropping them on the floor) indicate she don wanna be there. She never kneads, massages, anything- Just runs her fingernails on me. AWFUL!! WTF??
Worst Facial Ever: Forgot her name. But when she put GASOLINE on my face ( not really, but that what it felt like) I was done. Another person who left the room for at least 20 minutes while my face was on fire. When I came out, one of the other spa managers saw me and said OH MY GOD and took me in her room and put a hylaronic acid cooling mask on me for 30 minutes to calm the swelling and redness from my face.
So yeah, I go to Memphis a lot, but that will be the last time at feathers,Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Dani L.Los Angeles, CA1366Jul 11, 2021
I had a 90 minute Relaxation Massage w/ Reflexology with Lisa and LOVED it. What a lovely way to spend the afternoon! I was greeted with a glass of champagne and tour of the spa, then Lisa gave an exceptional massage. It was relaxing and felt great -- my body needed it! Lisa was excellent -- she made sure I was comfortable, and everything from the music, lightning, and heated table, added to a great experience. Afterward, she set me up in the dry sauna. I wanted to go right back the next day! I highly recommend Lisa and Feathers Spa. I can't wait for my next trip to Memphis!

Love this place! I had my hair done here on a site visit and the head stylist spent 4 hours on my hair to make it perfect! He was so meticulous and his assistant was super nice as well! They even put a scented eye pad on my eyes each time they washed the dye out of my hair. Nice touch.
The actual service rooms seemed nice as well and well maintained. Highly recommend!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chelsey M.Omaha, NE11914861Sep 9, 2020
Fantastic experience! The robe is to die for comfy and Justice gave the best massage I've had in years! Very comfortable atmosphere small enough to be cozy and large enough to feel luxe. The price is high but it is at the Peabody so it's to be expected.

My review is based on the spa booking experience, which was terrible. I called the spa on a Friday (one week before I wanted to get the services). I spoke with Dawson and informed I wanted to schedule pedicures for three people and a massage for one of the three. His attitude/reaction was off the entire time we spoke. We confirmed specific times for the services AND he took my credit card information. He then confirmed we were all set and I'd receive an email confirmation. After hanging up, I realized he didn't ask what kind of massage and for how long. So I called back and informed that he didn't ask for that information. He laughed and said he booked me for 60 minutes. I then told him I wanted a relaxation massage because it makes a difference at most spas. Everyone doesn't always do every type of massage. He confirmed again that he had us scheduled. Fast forward 2 days later, no email confirmation. I called the spa and the lady I spoke with told me that she didn't see anything scheduled for us. I asked her to check other days in case Dawson put down the wrong date. She saw nothing and while I was talking, the phone disconnected. I'm not saying she hung up but that's definitely a possibility. I'm so glad this didn't work out because Peabody and the Feathers Spa does not deserve my money. I'm disgusted with the entire experience.
