Gringos Locos has locations throughout Orlando, this review is specially for the location in the Amway Center.

I've gone to Gringos three times this year during the Orlando Magic 21-22' season and here's my overview:

      1. The wait: From what I've seen Gringos is one of the more frequented locations in the arena for food. If you're looking to eat here you should expect a 10-15 minute wait during non-game time slots. This is not a knock on the staff, they just get reasonable volume.

      2. To Order: Gringos has made it easy to Order. Once you're at the front of the line there are 3-4 digital kiosks where you place your order, pay for your food, and grab your receipt. The interface is intuitive and fast. This moves the line. From there you slide down and wait for your number to be called.

      3. The menu: As far as entrees go, there are essentially 3 choices. Two double decker tacos (beef, chicken, pork), nachos(beef, chicken, pork), or vegetarian nachos. Of course you can get sides of chips and guac, but there are basically only those entrees above.

The food is quality for arena food, and the staff is kind, if you catch the line short you can be in and out in 3-5 minutes. There are TVs around while you're waiting so you don't miss any action.

My only major issues with this location is lack of options (though I understand this would possibly mean slower service if there was too much on the menu), and the fact that the screen they use to say which orders they are cooking doesn't tell you which are ready. You have to wait until you hear your number called and run up quickly. The screen should take your order number and say it's ready, not just preparing. This would lead to a better guest experience overall in my opinion.

My friend and I went after work for happy hour. They had select tacos for $3 and some burritos for $7.50 (which means you saved around $1.50). Also free chips and salsa upon request for happy hour. The food was not bad, just typical fare. I got the Ok Jorge and I couldn't finish it all in one sitting. It also fell apart as I ate it. The chips were decent quality.

The staff was all very friendly. It was strange that my friend asked if they had carnitas as a protein option and the cashier just looked very confused at what carnitas was. The options were beef, chicken, or pork.

If you're looking for decent food for a decent price to get full from, this is your place. They're open until super late so you go after a night out downtown.

Not the best photo, but is there a good way to take a photo of a sloppy burrito?

I love Gringos Double Ds at all their other locations, so I was excited to get some chicken Double Ds at the Solar Bears game. The whole point of the Double D taco is to have queso between the hard and soft shell taco. THERE WAS NO QUESO! It was the saddest excuse for a taco ever. The owners of Gringos should be embarrassed that their name is associated with that trash. Also, the guac was bad and brown.

Were going to the Amay/Kia Arena location for a couple of seasons to enjoy the Double-D meal during games. This season when we went, we found that they significantly cut the value -- For almost the same price as last season, we were given one taco instead of 2, & found that the chips & salsa were now extra. So no longer going there during games............

Lamest nachos ever. And they have no napkins other than the little one in the cutlery pack.

Nestled within Amway Ctr, we found ourselves here. We were hungry & it was convenient. After making the drive from Tampa for The Black Keys' concert, my concert date wanted Mexican & beer. And we got it.

We just didn't get good fast food Mexican. We got the worst tacos & nachos that have ever graced our lips. Toss in the high cost & the fact the owner doesn't provide napkins, & never ever again will we eat here. (The napkins are apparently provided by a different vendor-- we heard some lame excuse by the franchise owner who was seated at the table next to us.) Anyway, if it's napkins you want, you'll have to walk down the corridor until you spot some on the opposite side.

The beer was the second best part of the meal (approx $10). The bottled water was easily the shining star of this Mexican show:-)

The beef nachos ($11.50) and the tacos ($9.50) were quite bad. The sweet ground beef was gross. The melted nacho cheese was "also gross"-- "like melted butter." (That's my secondhand account of the nachos:) The diced red, orange, & yellow tomatoes were flavorless, & of course the shredded iceberg was typical-- yup, merit less. Lame arsed no salsa chips accompanied our meals. I tossed my entire meal after three bites.

How this place stays open is beside me. Icky icky food! The only reason it earned two stars is because the staff was friendly and our order was prepared quickly.

Gringos locos serves consistent food. Being in the Amway Center, lines can be long, but they move pretty quick.

My go-to menu option is the Double Ds. This is two tacos, wrapped in both a soft and hard shell taco. You get chicken, cheese, lettuce and tomato. The chicken is actually cooked and seasoned well, has a nice "taco" flavor, but not spicy. The meal comes with chips. They have sauces available that you can put on your chips or tacos. This total meal will cost you about $9. A beer here, for a large, runs about $8.50.

Remembering you are in an arena, this food quality isn't bad and prices are to be expected.

It's a really busy place, but line goes by fast. I enjoy eating their fish tacos and the green machine burrito.

I love that they have a gringos in the Amway! The Double D's are where it's at! Love the combo of hard and soft with cheesy queso in between. I always do one beef and one pork. I'm a huge fan of their sauces too. We've been to this location every time we visit the Amway and definitely plan on doing it again!

The service is horrible at the Amway Arena location. I was there for an Orlando Magic Game and watched 8 employees meander around doing absolutely nothing while others checked their phones, or looked around at the crowd passing by. Of the 8 employees one took my order and one person made it. Nobody else did any type of work so I'm not sure what they're doing. If you ever want to see lazy in action just stand and watch for 5 minutes. Unbelievable!
