Amazing wines and people! We went for a tasting and chatted with the owners and wine makers. They gave us so many tastings and a tour of their distillery. We were able to walk through the barrels and took home a ton of bottles!

Organized a group of 6 oenophile friends to check this out on a whim. $10 tasting was excellent- not single meh or just ok ( tasting cost can be applied to purchase) and prices are fantastic.
It was easy to reserve online for my group.
Dennis from Umbriaso was there patiently pouring & answering questions w enthusiasm.
There's picnic tables to chillax once the sun comes out, we brought some snacks of our own but they also brought our Asiago & crackers & homemade chocolate chip cookies too!
Well behaved Dogs & small children were welcomed. Restroom is clean & roomy. Parking easy.
Wines were fantastic & several of us bought bottles. Definitely will visit againHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 748468630May 7, 2022
So my fiancé and I stopped here while out. We literally stumbled across this winery so we had to do a tasting. We had so much fun! The wines and the owner are amazing. I left with a bottle of the blend. We will definitely visit again.

I wanna give this place minus thousands of stars. I witnessed extremely hostile, racist and aggressive behavior from the owner, James.
I watched him scream at a young brown artist who had been commissioned and allowed on property to do some art work. Instead of approaching with curiosity (because he claimed to be misinformed about art happening on his lot) starts cussing out, pointing and screaming at the artist.
Very unprofessional. Seems to have extreme anger issues.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Marla B.Danville, CA11312477Oct 17, 2020
Great find on the island... relaxed vibe and amazing owners. Jim and Carol were so welcoming and informative about the island and their winery. Enjoyed a beautiful day on Treasure island and a bottle of their Pinot Noir. Our day was made so much better by a stop at Treasure Island Wines! Highly recommend!

Had the pleasure of visiting Treasure Island wines today, April 26th, 2021. We popped our head in the open door to see if they open. They were but it was appointment only. NO WORRIES MATE. Danny was so welcoming he invited us to sit outside and he would accomodate a tasting for us anyway. He was exceedingly knowledgeable and took a lot of time to explain wines with us. Please go visit and ask for Danny.

Jim, the owner, presented us Rose of Grenache (of which we bought a bottle) and another Chardonnay. Both of them were very tasty and flavored.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 21, 2010
Have you stopped at Treasure Island? ...Have you really? ...Really? ...Why? I mean other than the occasional wedding reception, music festival and triathlon, is there any reason to stop there? Yes, I know there's a nice city skyline view from the west side of the island, but man, the on-ramp back onto the Bay Bridge can really be a throat-clutcher with traffic buzzing by at 80 mph. Like anybody pays attention to the 40 mph blinking lights. Yeah, I'm talking to you.
It's been about 13 years since the naval base gates opened for us civilians on Treasure Island and a collective ho-hum ever since. At least until Jamie W. and I accidentally came upon Treasure Island Wines. It's a semi-converted warehouse with a whole lotta wine barrels (see photo). We inadvertently crashed an event they were holding yesterday, so there were appetizers thrust in front of us as well as wines being poured. The winemakers were as nice as can be and welcoming to their unexpected mainland neighbors.
The specialty at TI Wines is artisanal winemaking with Blue Cellars and Sol Rouge among their clients. Prices are reasonable per bottle ranging from $20-$28 for a cab, zin, or pinot noir. With just a nondescript sign and a decorative sphere on its roof (see photo), the place is usually open a couple of weekends a month with a $5 charge for tastings from 1-5PM - but I'd give them a call first just in case they are holding a private event. Otherwise your only other vino option may be a box of Franzia at the mini-market at the gate. Hey, my spigot is broken...Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 9Oh no 0
