Bakersfield Racquet Club

We rented the BRC venue for a CHP graduation and were so happy with everything about the party. The inside banquet room was perfect for the event, and overlooks both the pool and courtyard. Sadly I forgot to get a picture of how lovely the courtyard was but it was incredibly charming. All of the staff were very kind, accommodating, and overall a thrill to work with. Definitely a great venue hall in town like a secret gem in town.

If you're new in town and looking for a place to play tennis, want to learn to play tennis or want your kid to learn how to play tennis, this is the place to go. Ofcourse, like every sports clubs, you have to pay for membership here. They have different options so check their website. Aside from tennis courts, they have plenty of other amenities here; pickle ball court, pool, gym, cafe, tennis store and they even have room where they do line dancing or Zumba. People here are very nice, especially with kids and they really care about their members. They also host lots of tennis events (including Bakersfield Tennis Open). I highly recommend this place!

First off let me start by saying I probably would have given a 5 star review but because we had come for breakfast and was 9 minutes after 11 we had to order lunch.
Kinda forced to eat a meal we really didn't want.
But here we go. We ended up ordering tri tip sandwiches.
The tri tip had a good smoke flavor not tough at all. The roll was lightly toasted and delicious.
Staff here are very pleasant and attentive.
I'm gonna have to return to have breakfast.

Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name... this is the place. The hidden gem we lovingly call the BRC.

It's a great place to get a good game of tennis. Need some help with your game? The instructors are some of the best in Kern county. They have various league tournaments and junior programs.

Need a place to cool off? Not one pool, but two.

Perhaps you want to sweat instead. They've got a gym that has the basic equipment you need.

But wait, now you're hungry... drop on by the Match Point Grill.

By night time, hang out at the patio and enjoy the libations you brought from home with your fellow members.

Hosting referee classes for AYSO 359. Great meeting room, cool even with 100+ degrees outside, beautiful landscaping, and nice patio to use during class breaks. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely use again. Also, my daughter got a salad for lunch at the Cafe, very nice to have lunch/dinneroptions during an all day and several evening class

This place is just gorgeous.

Located in the beautiful Westchester area of Bakersfield, it's a hidden gym that must be checked out.

There is a pool, multiple tennis courts, sauna, gym, ball room. All located on very pretty and lush grounds. Very well kept and quiet. A nice place to swim or play tennis. Or even get your fitness on.

Multiple events are hosted throughout the year for club members. The events are so nice and a lot of fun. I very much enjoy going here.

The staff is great. Very nice, sincere people. The instructors knowledgable but fun. A great place to put your kid in swim or tennis.

Absolute horrible experience courts are cracked the courts that are available if any are available if we're taking up by some tournament for some class generally were no more then 2 to 4 quarts and arrogance.

Best viewing of nearly any club anywhere!!! Shade, comfortable viewing of multiple courts at once--at ground level and upstairs. Wonderful history. Great combination of courts, community events, tournaments, fitness, swimming pools, and food. Beautiful entry with outdoor seating area. So much good here.

My Husband and I just joined. The grounds are beautifully lined with large shaded trees and lots colorful flowers. There are 16 courts, 2 pools, a full gym, a pro shop & a coffee bar with lovely shaded outdoor seating. It a Bakersfield staple in beautiful Westchester.
