While I don't think many dine in at Corinne's Place--looks like the dining room is used mostly for events, lured by its recent placement as #42/50 in Philadelphia Magazine and a recent James Beard award for regional food, we greatly enjoyed our dine-in experience.

We decided to go with the Family Value Platter (3 meats, 3 sides) for $110.00 and after indulging, each couple came away with a to-go container of delicious soul food. The platter comes with two desserts (individually packaged) and we had a pitcher of sweet tea. Upon our server's recommendation, we tried the (1) fried chicken, (2) fried whiting, and (3) barbecue pork ribs along with (a) baked mac & cheese, (b) collard greens, and (c) rice & gravy. We also had a side of fried chicken wings, which turned out to be much like the fried chicken--not bad leftover, though--and some okra, corn & tomatoes, which had great flavor! The whiting is a delicate white fish and was terrific with a hit of Corinne's hot sauce (definitely ask for some if you like your food spicy!). The fried chicken was perfectly juicy and crispy. But the barbecue pork ribs won the meat game with fall-off-the bone, delicious BBQ sauced meat. My favorite sides were the baked mac & cheese and the collard greens--the latter were so tender! And the apple cobbler was sweet and cinnamon-y.

I agree with Holly W., I did wish there was less plastic used, at least for those dining in, but I'm sure we'll reuse the platter for a potluck down the line!

This joint is a Camden staple, and for good reason. The food is amazing and they actually have a really great vegan platter (salisbury steak with choice of sides). My carnivorous coworkers have had everything else on the menu and always leave full and happy. Great service and atmosphere as well.

I was looking for some place to eat that's delicious and that's really going to satisfy those Ramadan cravings. I ordered a fried chicken wing platter with cabbage/greens and yams. My old man got beef ribs with Mac n cheese and rice and gravy. The ribs were fall off of the bone good. The sides were delectable and they give you great size portions. The only thing I regret is not asking for them to fry my wings harder. Other than that, the food was good.

To my mind, this is the only valid soul food place in Philly... and it's in Jersey. But I tried and tried and tried to find someplace in the city and nothing met the standards. So over the bridge I had to go.

Corinne's is basically a "meat and two" type place. All of the mains that I've had have been great, except for the salmon croquettes, which were just okay. All of the sides are delicious. Standouts include the greens, yams, and mac. Cornbread used to be included, but now it's an add on (maybe $1.50). The cake slices are most definitely made from box mix, but they put that jello pudding in there, so they're moist and delicious. The peach cobbler is just alright.

Closed on Mondays. And closed a little to early almost every day. Definitely call before you come if you're taking out -- the wait can be up to 45 minutes if they're busy.

I REALLY wanted fried chicken and potato salad tonight, and decided to check DoorDash for this place, since I'd heard so much positive comments over the last many months. My food was even better than I expected, perfectly seasoned with the right amount of kick. The chicken was crispy outside, not over breaded, and juicy inside. The sides of cabbage and greens, and the potato salad didn't even need a pinch of salt. My husband's smothered pork chop was well-seasoned, with the right amount of "smother". His rice with gravy was just right, not mushy. If I could give more than 5 stars for this dinner, I would! Well done, Corinne's!

Really wonderful soul food with gigantic portions. Came here after reading that it won James Beard award for regional food. Pleasant patio tent or eat inside. Staff very nice. BYOB.

I had BBQ pork ribs, collards and Mac and cheese. All delicious. Mac and cheese authentic and very cheesy. Husband had fried chicken and okra/tomatoes/corn.

My only beef is they use a LOT of plastic. Even eating in we were served with big plastic trays, utensils, and bottled water. That being said, we couldn't possibly eat it all and would have needed take home trays anyway.

I was unaware Corrines was undergoing renovations when we decided to go. We were ushered to a large tent , equipped with heat lamps , and seated . It was a cold windy day. The tent was warm initially but it got pretty cold out there pretty quickly.

Now for the good part .... The food was excellent . The portions were generous . The server was very friendly.

I ordered fried chicken, collard greens and sweet potatoes (they are not candied , it's a tender sweet potato) ... and a side of catfish. My entree was very good but the catfish was EXCEPTIONAL. My husband ordered fried whiting , Mac and cheese and okra . He enjoyed his meal as well.

I will definitely be back ... after the renovations

Finally was able to taste the food at Corinne's Place and it was worth it!! Catfish & chickens wings were fried to perfection. Macaroni & cheese, potato salad & sweet potatoes were great. My only disappointment were the black eye peas...little seasoning and undercooked.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon but did not get the buffet selections which was very popular!! A stream
of regular customers assured us we made a good choice. Staff was EXTREMELY helpful and service was wonderful.

This place came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The service was great from the time you walked in. I opted for the buffet. The buffet was five sides and five meats. Everything was hot and fresh. The potatoes salad was a small portion but was really great five stars. The other portion sides were enough for two people. The collard greens were seasoned to profection as well. I highly recommend the fried chicken. We sat outside in the adjacent area to the restaurant. I would have to say it was comfortable and warm

First time here so was excited! Nice man asks me what if like and after telling him what I may like he was like alright I got you since I told him I wanted to try everything lol. I don't think they had wings but got the fish forget what kind think it was catfish which was slightly dry, chicken curry was ok, but the ribs are real good with the Cajun turkey wing, meatloaf, rice with gravy, Mac n cheese, collard greens, yams, oxtail all good!

I was going to get a sandwich but turns out Sandwich just means the meat on its own

I could be biased as former Boston market worker but I think theirs is better that here tho maybe I needed butter

Spent $86 lol which was more than expected but I just kept adding on

This is great comfort food that I'll have to come back for since I believe they rotate their weekend menu and forgot dessert!
