We had Steve and his team pack up all of our belongings, including a large amount of very fragile glassware, and transport it more than 1700 miles to our new home. Everything arrived intact, and in clearly labeled boxes so we knew what to unpack first and what to leave for later in the week. They were also very patient working through a last minute complication involving my old building's HOA, and we were able to get everything done on schedule and delivered on the morning of the target day. Highly recommended.

Moving is stressful. Our landlord passed away and his family was pushing us out of the house we rented. We were no where near ready to move and Steve and his team came in and did an amazing job: taking the some of the stress out of a very difficult situation.

We found Bystroff Moving Company on Yelp. Steve responded to our request for a quote within 5 minutes. He came out to the house and looked at what had to moved, and he gave us a quote that was competitive. He also explained exactly how he would get us moved from Oakland to Vallejo and how long the process would take.

On moving day Steve and his team worked hard and fast. They wrapped and packed our stuff with care and they also made sure that no damage was done to the property during the move. We had a lot of stuff and Steve and his team got it all packed and moved in the time frame they said they would.

When the job was finished there were no extra hidden charges. Steve charged us exactly what he quoted.

I have moved five times since the year 2000 and this was, by far, the best experience I ever had with a moving company.

Steve, our driver Eric, and the whole team were very efficient, professional, and responsive. By far the best movers I've ever worked with! They managed to move all my belongings from SF to LA in a single day with no damage to the house or any of my things. Steve was always very responsive leading up to the move and there were 0 hidden fees. I can't recommend them enough.

Best moving experience I ever had! From the beginning, Bystroff moving and Steve, the owner was very thorough on contacting me back in a timely manner and scheduling within the same week to accommodate my very sudden move and it was the day before the Fourth of July on a Sunday! The price was fair when I got multiple quotes and honestly what I loved about working with them was the attention to detail and the positive vibes. Moving is stressful and I assure you, with there help it will ease your stress and be worth every dollar! The had a perfect balance between working fast but slowing down when needing to keep delicate items secure and undamaged. They are so hard working I literally asked them to take breaks.

They wrapped items to prepare them in the truck and we have so many stairs I was amazed that I never heard one of the movers complain. During the whole process Steve checked in with me to let me know how things were going and they even took lunch a little later to get the truck loaded before going to the new house to unload everything. No scratches, dents or damage at all to the homes or our belongings. I was amazed considering all the stairs we had!

It was one of those experiences in my life I will never forget because they took care of us and helped us move into our home with ease and joy. I felt like I would have payed them anything and everything in my account at the end of the day. With how hard they work and especially all day on a Sunday away from their families and laughing and enjoying life, it made me want to thank them. I tipped them well at the end, the biggest tip we have ever tipped any person or business because they worked harder than I've ever seen anyone work. That's rare in a generation where many want a hand out. They earned every dollar. I will use them for all packing and moving and referring. I hired Bystroff last month when I relocated from San Francisco to San Diego. Steve and his team are top-notch and it became clear very quickly that this would be a zero drama move.

I solicited quotes from several potential movers. Bystroff was the only one that took the time to come to my building in advance of the move, so they would have a good understanding of what they would be moving, what the loading zone would look like, and what sort of surprises my old SF building might have in store for them. This helped make for a smooth and uneventful load-in and load-out. Steve and his team were efficient and were very careful with valuables and fragile items.

I've had movers in the past that I would never use again. This is the opposite -- I strongly recommend Bystroff for a residential move.

This is our second time hiring Bystroff.
Another wonderful crew who helped us move for our business office in December 2022. Very punctual, professional and respectful team. You can tell they have great communication amongst the team and with us-the customers. Extra points for them since they had to work during a rain storm and they still worked 150%. It is so nice to see the respect they had for our belongings. Everything was wrapped & carefully moved. No walls banged or touched.

Best movers ever!

I highly recommend Bystroff Moving Company!! We recently completed a 4 bedroom house move and can't imagine doing it without them.

Their prices were great and the quality of the service was exceptional. They worked with us on all kinds of special pieces such as our Peloton, large interlocking furniture as well as fragile pieces. They took special care of our floors and walls, putting up padding on the corners and walkways throughout the house.

They were very responsive leading up to the move and showed up when and where they said they would. The team was very personable and helped make the moving day fun. They were always willing to help and had great positive attitudes!

We are a small non-profit educational institution in downtown Oakland, California. Recently we have started running basketball and football Programs. They are guided and coached by the famous Gary Dwayne Payton Sr. So we have a lot of new students coming to Lincoln University (LU) and we also provide accommodation.

In the mid of August, our Housing Coordinator got injured on the most important - moving date and we had urgently to call several moving companies to find an 'emergency' same day, 2 hours notice solution. So that is how the cooperation with "Bystroff Moving Company" has started. From 5 targeted companies, only the Manager of "Bystroff MC" - Stepan, was able to find an alternative solution and within 2 hours, 4 movers with a big truck and extra car were already loading the staff from Ikea. The guys were quick, smart, and responsible. They were on time and overall efficient had all the equipment needed to assemble the furniture (including garbage bins, pots, and pens), and did not charge us extra understanding our case.

With this review, we would like to say THANK YOU! You really were the savers for us in these odd circumstances. We appreciate your help and work and we will be cooperating with you further. Overall, great smart service and we recommend it to anyone who is 'on the move'.

Being a sales professional, I really appreciated the 'hustle' to secure me as a client. Their pricing was competitive and his communication ahead of the move was great.

The team showed up on time and worked hard the entire time. Unlike other companies, floor and wall protection was included in the cost. They were diligent about packing and unpacking and didn't leave until we were happy with where everything was laid out in our new home.
