Mi Tierrita

Food is always delicious. I have been coming here over 10 years. I always get the breaded chicken, or the Carne Asada. Their chicken soup is pretty good as well. You get a lot of food you will definitely not be able to finish your food in one sitting. Prices are very cheap for all the food that you get. The service is very good as always. Drinks are very strong. I have no complaints about this place.

Ordered food to go from here recently. The rice and beans and rotisserie chicken were good. Did not like that the tostones were so huge. Breaded steak was dry and the empanadas were ok. The food used to be better than what we received.

Food was amazing and service was top notch. Everything was a great experience and definitely coming back soon!

When getting in the restaurant, it smells weird like moldy or no ventilation. Picada dish is over cooked and no aji or any kind of sauce, if you don't ask for it. White sangria is prepared with cheap Franzia 5 liter box white wine. Server could barely describe how food is prepared. Overall service, food and atmosphere 2 out of 5. Not impressed and expensive.

Well unfortunately the previous reviews were correct. The service was very very bad and I'm upset at myself for not being more careful knowing what previous reviews stated. I love trying new Colombian food and this was my first time ever ordering from them. I picked up my order and they had forgotten two items and one of them was a whole plate of rice and beans that comes with the steak. Shame on me for not checking before I left the restaurant but when I got home I called them. I told them about the missing items and how I was not going to drive back 20 minutes to go get it and I would just take a partial refund. They gave me the complete run around and kept putting different people on the phone in which all of them were either clueless or acted like they didn't know how to fix it. Eventually they said "call back in half hour when the manager is here." Sure enough, I called 1 hour later and "the manager" was still not there. Suddenly, seconds later another person gets on the phone and says they are the manager and are processing a partial refund. Well its been almost two weeks and no sign of a refund. Their food was good but be careful if you decide to go there!

I went back recently and it seems like they either changed the seasoning they use, chicken supplier or something, because it just doesn't taste the same. I don't think I will be back.

Been going here since I was a little girl new to this location I've been trying out this one in bayshore and it was going good until couple orders I've been receiving when it comes to ordering some empanadas to go before they were stuffed and delicious and can barely eat the third one . now it barely has any meat in it and all your eating is the dough it's wrapped in and tn was the last straw and last time I give these ppl my money completely disappointed and upset .

food was horrible ordered a large beef soup and only came with 2 pieces of bones no meat at all very sad and got home missing the rice with the beans that come with the large soup . then I ordered the chicken with everything. my whole order was wrong this place is a mess way over priced I will never ever ever order from them the mi Tierrita of Brentwood on Suffolk Ave. called them also to try and fix the order they transfer you to 4 different people. they are so unprofessiona.

I have eaten at this simple restaurant several times in the past few years. The food is ok and the prices are just a bit higher than one would expect but not unreasonable. the chicken is probably the best thing on the menu. I think theirs rate about 7-8 out of 10 but the other items on the menu which I have tried about a 6. very convenient if you are in Brentwood. parking tough in the front but there is a parking lot in the rear with plenty of space.

Ive only been there once and had the chicken fingers and fries. Its pretty simple and tasty but then again I only had the chicken fingers and fries. The atmosphere is pretty laid back and the service is really good.
