What is Ticonderoga? A question asked by all new members and honored guests. Ticonderoga: a place of meeting, of congregation, of plots and schemes; a place of boisterous drinking and grateful dining, of revelry, revelation, revolution; a home for friends and wayward strangers. Blown away by the incredible team at "The Club". Made a last minute reservation on a Sunday night at the Bar. Alec the bartender immediately greeted me when I sat down and the night only got better from there. Started with the reserve cup cocktail that was refreshing and bright. Followed that with the Buckskin Playmate because the ingredient profile was a favorite and the woman in the "Captain's chair" next to me raved about it. Blown away by the depth of cocktail knowledge of the team behind and the crazy amount of unique liquor in the the cabinets. Had to try the food even though I had already eaten earlier as everything that came out of the kitchen looked and smelled amazing not to mention the wide eyes from each of the dinners around me as they tasted each dish. Had the sweetbreads and have to say they were perhaps one of the best things I have eaten this year!

I found a gem in Atlanta. Hidden on a corner of the Krog Street Market is The Ticonderoga Club. It has a Caribbean tavern feel.

Ticonderoga comes from the Iroquois word meaning a junction of two waterways which makes sense given the seafood forward menu.

I had the mackerel dip, green salad and catch of the day which was trout. Everything was fantastic. Taylor took great care of us.

      AMBIANCE:
What a cute find semi-hidden inside KROG STREET MARKET. It's nestled in the corner and looks small from the outside, but has both an "semi-outdoor patio", indoor bar area, and upstairs hideaway. It gives TIKI VIBES, but with upscale cocktails & lovely bites.

      SERVICE;
I've only been here once and sat at the bar on a random week night, but service was awesome! My bartender was ALEC and he informative and helped with suggestions as I navigated my first time here.

      FOOD/DRINKS:
The drinks are 10/10. I'd come back just to try them all! I wasn't very hungry this time around so I just got their chips & smoked fish dip which was PERFECT! Homemade chips and a hefty amount of dips, perfect starter for 2 people.

      OVERALL:
Love this place and sad I walked by it so many times without going in! I will DEFINITELY be back to try all their cocktails and snacks. Great hidden gem.

Chips & smoked fish dip - GREAT APPETIZER FOR 2 people!

We came in here for drinks and few apps! The server was super nice and informed. Really enjoyed the mackerel dip! We were brave and tried the sweet bread.

They are known for them and they were really tasty! Definitely check it out! In the Krog street Market!

      Cool vibes inside!

I really liked Ticonderoga club! The inside is still (maybe perpetually?) decorated a little Christmassy and I love it! The drinks were solid and the food was very very tasty. We shared the diver scallop and the catch of the day (it was trout), and the flavors, sauces, everything, was amazing! The service was great as well, we had all our questions answered and felt really well taken care of even though we only stayed for a small meal.

Some people were celebrating a birthday and must've gotten the chuck wagon which came with this giant pepper grinder and I couldn't help but take a pic!

Honestly this spot looked way better from the outside. Not sure if their kitchen changed (because reviews were so positive), but something is off. While traveling a friend and I visited, while in Krog Street. We felt so lucky to get a table because reservations seemed necessary. The cocktails were pretty good, but the two food items weren't. There wasn't the rich, delicious broth in the mussels I expected and honestly they tasted a little off, like maybe they were bad. My friend agreed. The beef tartare was okay but definitely disappointed. We decided to go elsewhere for dinner. Service was really good though, so the food was a bummer!

Wow. Ticonderoga Club truly embodies what it means to be a 5 star restaurant (I don't hand out 5 stars lightly). This place had been on my list for a while until I finally was able to go. It was definitely worth the wait. I ordered the steak Tartare and the Poh Eggplant. Both were exceptional. The Poh Eggplant was such an explosion of flavor with a nice kick, I was took aback by how much I enjoyed this dish.

The service, well it matches the food. Amazing! The hospitality was almost unreasonable. I was eating by myself outside in albeit not the most coveted seat. When I arrived at the restaurant it was pretty busy on the inside. As the night progressed I guess a few seats at the bar opened up and my waitress asked me if I wanted to sit at the bar. Of course I said yes because I couldn't stop drinking the Negronis here. My waitress placed me in the "Captains Seat" at the bar I got the pleasure of meeting the wonderful bar tenders. I'm disappointed it took me so long to make it to this restaurant, but it feels so good to finally be apart of the Club. IYKYK!

Special shout out to Alec, Greg, and Courtney!

It's a disappointment this place didn't get a Michelin star, the experience I had this restaurant deserves one. Hopefully next year!

Can't wait to come back here, you're welcome!

What a hidden gem... literally! Ticonderoga Club is in the back corner of Krog Street market and the ambiance and food is completely unexpected. The vibe is a casual pub you might stumble into, but the food has an upscale feel (and taste).

The menu has a range of Thai inspired dishes, modern takes on classics, and truly unique items. The steak tartare served with daikon was excellent and a combo I hadn't seen before. The star of the show for me personally was the diver scallop with an exquisite basil sauce over pasta. We were literally scrapping the bowl (with leftover daikon).

Poh's eggplant was excellent with amazing Thai flavors and we also shared the catch of the day which was a beautifully cooked steelhead trout.

Would highly recommend for a nice dinner that doesn't feel pretentious. The service was immaculate and the cocktails were all very well balanced. The Ruby Falls (a twist on a G&T) was incredible.

What a great experience and I'm mad at myself for not coming here sooner! I had a party of 5, so we shared a bunch of apps to start. Everything was good! We had the snapper ceviche, mussels, sweetbreads, and steak tartare. The steak tartare was my fave of the bunch with the ceviche being a close 2nd.
For my entree I had the pork chop steak with pickled veggies. This was awesome. Basically, it was like a Vietnamese vermicelli noodle bowl without the noodles and a large pork chop steak instead. The table also shared the tres leches dessert. I'm not a huge dessert person but I loved that this was not overly sweet. All of the drinks that I sampled were also good.
Our server was excellent and had a great sense of humor.
The menu is changing up soon so I will definitely be back.

The English vocabulary limits my conveying to you the unexplainable glory of the Ticonderoga experience.

It IS an experience. It's beyond the fantastic food and expertly crafted cocktails. You will be treated like everyone SHOULD be treated everywhere you go. If you require specifics... whatever the fish and veg specials are, get them. If you haven't yet experienced a Ticonderoga Cup, it's a good intro to the Club. In my opinion (and experience) the bar is the place to be.

If you are fortunate to be dining with good friends, get the Chuckwagon. If you are shy, beware. It will draw the attention of envious fellow patrons.

Last but not least, you have never had a Tres Leches like the Tres Leches here. Get it, or regret it.

Vey good food and drink that they get a relatively high price for and they add a charge on the bill for the employees' healthcare. If they were charging less for the food and drink that would be more palatable. The place is always busy and they are thriving because they are very good. They will do fine without my patronage.
