Meh. Went in for an initial exam, and wasn't thrilled. I felt like I was in a dilapidated gym. I Didn't go back.

I had heard good things from others who came here, but I'm not impressed. They lack the personal care, and treat you more like a commodity. It's a very hands-off experience.
At the initial evaluation, important details weren't listened to and taken into consideration. I don't get the idea that they see me as a whole person. I was also disappointed that they didn't provide any sort of treatment or help at the end of my evaluation appt to at least just get me started. It was more of a measure-all-your angles for appropriate documentation, and then push you out the door.
At the 1st PT session, I was told to do an exercise, and then I was left alone to do it. At one point someone asked me "You doing okay? Let me know when you're done." Then they had me stretch... myself. Is there no hands-on actual "physical therapy" here? (ie: no icing, "massage", or hands-on stretching). They may as well have printed up exercises for me to do at home and never come back... which I could just google on my own, really.
There are maybe 3 PTs and several assistants - it's unclear who is who, and what their role is. It doesn't matter, since they don't get to know you. Someone tells you to do something, then sets a timer and forgets about you; then someone else comes over to tell you to do something, sets a timer, and forgets about you. I feel like a piece of produce being passed down the line. I don't feel seen nor cared for.
I also don't appreciate the lack of privacy. All of my appointments (including the initial evaluation) were in the large room where anyone & everyone could see & hear everything.
I've been to PT at several different places (before moving here), and this was one of the least attentive PT experiences I've ever had. It's like working out in the gym, but when you first enter the gym manager just points to a piece of equipment and says good luck.
I ended up canceling my appointments and finding another PT.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gloria M.CA, CA01Sep 14, 2021
Just had my first appointment yesterday, with physical therapist, George. He was so knowledgeable, so respectful, and so pleasant. He gave me time to ask questions and made sure I understood the treatment plan. The young woman working the front desk was also extremely pleasant and helpful.

Can't believe I only have one check in here. I came here a ton for my neck. All of the employees are super nice and get to know you quick. Always nice when they get to know you and make you feel welcome when you arrive.
