This is my second time here and the service is always friendly and they are able to fit my group of 4 without a long wait (which is not easy at all delicious Brooklyn pizza places).
If you want some legit Detroit style pizza with crispy edges and golden bottoms, this is it. You can't go wrong with any of the pies here although I'd recommend at least a medium size if you're sharing. I do wish the vodka meatball had a little more vodka sauce but I love my pizzas extra saucy. The cheesy bread is delicious too but it's essentially cheese pizza because you get the same crispy edges.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 25, 2024
i loooove aces if they have 0 fans i'm no longer on this earth. if you want a casual, friendly, chill, and filling dinner, CHECK OUT ACES. their pizza is so solid, super cheesy and saucy and the flavors are all really good.
stopped by pre yankees game last night and we tried the supreme this visit. (although i've also tried the burrata one and that's also fire.) the supreme was delicious. if you get the second smallest size, i think it's fine for 2 people if you guys aren't terribly hungry. i can lowkey eat but my dinner companion had difficulties after his third slice. we got that and the cheesy bread, jalapeño and hot honey. be warned that the cheesy bread is about the same size as the 1-2 person pizzas. it was pretty good but next time i would try another flavor of it. they were pretty generous with the hot honey on it though.
drinks wise got a cider, a beer, and a couple pickle backs. their pickle backs are really cheap and the pickle juice certainly tastes like the price but still not horrific, just not my fave flavor profile of pickle juice. can't hate too hard for 6 bucks.
will definitely come to aces again thanks for another great detroit style pizza momentHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 17, 2024
Is there a better Detroit style pizza or pizza spot in Brooklyn than Aces? Please tell me.
I don't think you can go wrong with any options. Pepperoni 10/10, Mushroom 10/10, Meatball 10/10 and the Honey Jalapeño Cheesy Bread 100/10.
Quick and friendly service with a retro pizza arcade feel.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Feb 27, 2024
Walked in at 6:50 on a Friday and our party of three secured a table after only a 20-minute wait. We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, small creamy caesar salad and personal sized Hawaiian. The pepperoni was definitely the standout - perfect.
Very fun vibe and great service!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Feb 24, 20241 check-in
Super light and fluffy Detroit style pizzeria with incredible atmosphere and even better staff. I love their 90"s decor while playing all the classic 80's hits.
This perhaps a sleeper one time in Williamsburg but no more. I strongly recommend using Resy however walk-in's are welcomed.
Ace's is definitely a great place to relax, eat and have a cocktail with buddies. One of the best in WilliamsburgHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 2, 2024
Ace's pizza is my favorite slice in New York City. I've had their satellite spicy boy at the bottom of Rockefeller, so I had to visit the real thing. This location is great. It's sit down so expect to pay tip. Our service was nice. I like all the retro, VHS tapes and video game systems plugged into TVs and arcade games.
we got the spicy boy on the secret menu. It taste so good. The pepperonis are perfectly crunchy. The spicy sauce is delectable with a good kick. The crust is what always gets me. It feels like cheese is melted into the crust. Best slice in the city! We got a personal slice for $14.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Daryl D.Long Beach, CA1901310May 14, 2024
Get the pepperoni pizza. Had wings too. Usually not a fan of crusts but for this pizza definitely made an exception.

After a long day of exploring Williamsburg, it was nice to be seated in a restaurant that was full of nostalgic decor. The atmosphere was very cozy and brings us back to the early 2000s. The space is quite small so the tables are a bit close together.
We ordered the cheese pizza with ricotta on top. The ricotta was an additional cost. The pizza itself was not the best Detroit style pizza I've had. The dough was kind of dense which made the slice sort of chewy. I do appreciate the different pizza size options ; it's uncommon to find such options with Detroit style pizza.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 20119106Jan 14, 2024
It's super disrespectful to New Yorkers to say this is one of the best pizza's in New York... but seriously, it is one of the best pizza spots in New York.
The crust is incredible, the sauce is flavorful, the options are endless, and make their own ranch. We got the Vodka Meatball, Buff Chicken, Pepper Trio, and Cheesy Bread.
Everything was incredible, super limited seating inside, but great vibe. If I didn't live in Manhattan I would literally go there every other week. Get yourself a deep dish pie. Yes its different from the typical slice, but its incredible and you will love it!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 8, 2024
