Amazing place.
I accidentally got there recently, and now have been there many times already.
Guys serve awesome food. I tried different wraps which were amazing, and fries is a must try!!

The food and music here are great. The workers are friendly too. My friend and I were in the area and found this place by chance off of yelp. We wish there was another place near us. Will definitely be eating here again when we get the chance.

Have eaten here multiple times and it has been delicious every time. The Döner reminds me of the Döners I have when I go home to Germany. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend and it is so nice to have this in Thousand Oaks.

Twisted Meats in Newberry Park isn't just the best spot for doner sandwiches and wraps in Ventura County--it might just top all of Los Angeles! The standout quality of ingredients elevates each bite into a gastronomic delight. What really sets their sandwiches apart is the bread, which is flown in directly from Germany, adding an authentic touch that's hard to find elsewhere.

The meat, juicy and flavorful, is generously piled on, and you can truly taste the high quality with each mouthful, cooked perfectly on a vertical broiler. Even their french fries are a revelation--crispy, superbly seasoned, and just fantastic.

Aside from the food, the cleanliness of the restaurant is top-notch, making it a comfortable place to dine. The staff are incredibly friendly, adding to the overall excellent experience. Having recently moved back to Newberry Park, I am thrilled to have Twisted Meats as my go-to local eatery. It's without a doubt my favorite spot in Ventura County!

Let me help you take the plunge, this place is awesome. The food was absolutely incredible. My wife had the Doner sandwich with chicken and I had the Doner salad with beef/lamb.

The menu is super simple, pick your protein and then pick your style. There are four choices that even the analysis paralysis friends out there will have zero issues making a quick choice.

The kitchen is completely visible which I always like because I feel like there are no secrets and you can witness the cleanliness first hand.

This is an excellent choice for a quick, nutritious and healthy meal. Skip all the crap fast food and come check this place out.

If you're looking for something quick & refreshing this place is great. The service was excellent, they were patient answered all my questions and made great recommendations! It's not often you find a quick bite that has great customer service & great food. If want to try something new this is the place to go!

Found this hidden gem one late night going home. It's open late which is great because there really isn't anything open late in Thousand Oaks. I've been back about 4 times because the food is great. Also the restaurant is very clean.
Staff are very friendly as well.

Love this place! I wouldn't imagine this spot to show up in NBP but was pleasantly surprised. I'm from the republic of Georgia and we have similar wraps but not close to the Doner one here. Luv the salads here, yum and my kids r obsessed with the lavash wraps and fries is to die for. The outdoor area is perfect with great music. Definitely recommend it to everyone

What is Twisted Meats, you ask?

It's a welcome addition to the strip mall located on North Ventu Park Rd at the corner of West Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks! I decided to check out this casual dining spot early this evening, and encourage you to do so for a healthier alternative to 'fast food' takeout or dine-in!

Walking into this small, simply decorated shop, I was greeted by a friendly and welcoming face behind the counter, who I later learned, when he came out to check on our table, was that of co-owner Ruben, originally from Germany. He is proud of this new venture with his brother Lars, with its German-Mediterranean inspired Doner, and maintains an exceptionally clean and spotless place.

I loved my Doner Rice Box with Beef and Lamb, which was covered by the traditional/'original' creamy garlicky sauce with an add-on of feta cheese. The generous serving included onions, cucumbers, tomatoes. red cabbage and lettuce over the bed of rice. It was filling and I brought about one third of it home to enjoy later

My friend ordered the Chicken Doner sandwich with Spicy Sauce and devoured it, proclaiming that the bread was 'fantastic' and that he couldn't wait to come back.

So, for friendly service, freshly made and delicious food, and a spotlessly clean shop which is open late for any evening hunger pangs, get out to Twisted Meats! (I know I'll be back soon!)
