I am not into sweets that much but this donut shop has some of the most moist and fresh tasting donuts that I've ever had. They have a wide variety of donuts from your basic glazed, to the maple, to the cinnamon rolls, and everything else.
I just like a simple glazed donut once in awhile. And the times that I visited, which has been about three times, I have never been disappointed.
They have some new sandwiches that they have added to the menu. I enjoyed the ham egg and cheese croissant sandwich once.
Because I have been there so early in the morning I have only met the one person working there who is always there by herself at that hour. She is super friendly and gives great customer service.
If you're into sweets and you like donuts you should try this place. It's true, I don't generally do sweets but I like the sweets that I've had here. So I highly recommend it.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 3024141257Mar 4, 2019
3.5 stars on maple bacon donut. Very good size. It was not too sweet which I like. They gave good amount of bacon. The donut itself was ok.

The lady that was working the counter when we came here this past weekend was super nice! They also had a wide array of donuts, unlike certain other donut shops that simply make one wave of donuts and you basically get what's leftover and sometimes nothing at all. *Cough* Top Pot *cough*. My boyfriend got a maple bar and a chocolate covered donut with sprinkles. I got a chocolate covered donut with coconut flakes (one of my go-to donuts), and something else that I have absolutely no idea what it was. But it had a maple glaze that was great! (I'll add a picture.)
My boyfriend said he liked them. I personally thought they were above just liking them, especially for the great price. I'm so used to these trendy donut shops hiking up the price for sugar drenched fried dough, that it's really nice to see great donuts for a great price.
They did have seating which was pretty cool. There were two booths in there. The atmosphere wasn't the best, but it's honestly whatever.
One thing I can say- they should play music or something! It was awkwardly quiet in there while we were both staring at donuts trying to decide what we wanted.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 19, 2017
the glazed donut holes looked exceptionally nice but the glaze/donut tasted mildly chalky lke they weren't made from fresh oi. The boston crème definitely tastes like there's something flavoring the oil they cook the donuts in. I'm not a fan.

We looked all over grocery stores for donut holes but no where had enough that we needed. So I called Family Donut and they made us the 7 dozen we needed PLUS went out of their was to make a few chocolate donut holes.
We were having a What will it Bee? Gender reveal party and I wanted to make a bee hive out of donut holes.
Their donut holes were so much better than store bought! We will definitely support this business!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Justin M.Seattle, WA10427Mar 21, 2020
Yo fam, my fam loves Family Donut. I have 3 favorite donut spots in the greater Seattle area, including Henry's and Delite in Everett. Family is legit. Legit selection, legit service, and obv legit donuts. Trust me fam, give Family a try, your family won't be disappointed.

I loved this place for years until they switched ownership. It started Valentine's day morning when we went in to get special Valentine's day donuts for my kids. They did a bunch of chores to earn the special V day donut and we went in around 11 AM to get a donut. I asked if they'd made any V day donuts and they said they ran out. Before 11AM! I asked if they were making more andthey said no. My kids were heartbroke.
Fast forward to national donut day. We wanted to get our favorites, maple bar and old fashioned glazed. They had already ran out of the popular ones and by them time we got a chance to order I found out they were also out of our favorites. We left at that point. I don't love the new ownership. We tool our business to thw donut factory instead. Bonus: their dozen was cheaper!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0May 31, 2015Previous reviewSUPER good donuts with super nice people. They lady who owns the place always gives us a couple free donut holes. Everything is yummy here and much more reasonably priced than other donuts shops around. A plus is that gourmet latte is across the street for us coffee prudes ;)

The owners of this place are the nicest Edmonds family! Not only are the donuts amazing but they are totally reasonably priced!
I spent a great deal of my childhood going to the Edmonds Bakery - but I have to say that these donuts are much better! This is my go-to place for yummy breakfast treats!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Maxwell M.Lynnwood, WA513458Sep 3, 2015
Donuts were great. Fresh, not over the top sweet (looking at you Frost!) and super affordable (looking at you Frost and Top Pot!).
Bacon maple bar had a healthy amount of smoky flavor (smoked bacon is my guess). The balance was great- the maple wasn't too thick so it didn't over sweeten the donut and hurt my teeth. Yeasted donut was soft, pillowy, and tasty.
Also had a coconut glazed cake donut. Cake donut was moist, and the sweetness came from the donut rather than the glaze.
Only recommendation would be for them to have some music playing in the shop.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
