Dr. Lee is amazing! The entire team at coastal smiles dentistry do a masterful job!
Yesterday's visit was the usual top notch. We arrived and there is never a wait for your appointment. You are greeted and no need to sign in as they recognize you the moment you arrive. Everyone is smiling and friendly while coaching is on better oral care.

The office has X-ray machines in every cubicle so you don't need to get up for your X-ray. They have TVs on the ceiling for you to enjoy while you get cleaned and repaired.

Pain level is small to none even my last appointment yesterday was expertly done! Only a final rinse and even my sensitive teeth they were careful working with. Since I've been coming, my sensitivity to hot and cold has gone to almost 0. With the newest and best equipment you'll feel like the best care is here.

Highly recommended (we moved to Burgaw and make the hour drive because quality matters)

We learned they're so amazing they have a second office (biz card image) the same DR Lee is at both.

Ask him about fishing, he is a master offshore fisherman.

Do not waste your time investing in this dentist office. The grace period is not taken into consideration. Patients traveling far distances which was only 10 minute difference was still not graced. I will never affiliated myself with a office such as. When you arrive the office, you will be sitting for that same time period or longer. Not worth it!!!! Go elsewhere.

Do not go to coastal smiles do not send your worst enemy to coastal smiles. I should have known from the first interaction with the "dr" and I use that term loosely, that this was not the place to be. Made an appointment due to a couple broken teeth and wanting to see what else needs to be done to get back on track with my oral health. Never even looked in my mouth on the first visit just x-ray and then said I need 3 teeth extracted. Made the appointment for the next week and that was a mistake. The office has too many things going on for just one "dr" I could hear the chaos in the background of him trying to direct all his employees while he was running around like a chicken with his head cut off. There was no one else in the room while he shattered my teeth and had to leave me with a mouth full of tooth particulates while he ran out to get more instruments. Totally unprofessional. He ended up breaking the upper tooth and leaving the rest in the socket without saying anything and caused extreme pain for a week until I could be seen at another dentist. They took more x-rays and confirmed that indeed the bottom of the tooth was still in the socket and sticking above gum line. The size of the tooth he then pulled was much
larger than expected and what a relief it was to finally have it out. Highly recommend O2 Dental group!!! They were amazing and will return there.

If you're looking for somewhere cheap to get wisdom teeth removal and aren't scared of needles, then this place is fine. HOWEVER, if you are like me and have a fear of needles/surgery, DO NOT come here. I went in for a consultation and the main doctor was just not kind or considerate of my fear. I specifically told him I do not want to be awake for getting FOUR wisdom teeth removed and he basically told me to grow up and that he can take out my teeth right then and there.

THIS PLACE DOES NOT OFFER IV SEDATION SO IF YOU WANT TO BE COMPLETELY KNOCKED OUT

This place does not offer IV sedation or laughing gas, and if you're looking for someone who caters to people who prefer to be knocked out for surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Bruce Arne. They were able to compeltely put me at ease (and trust me I have the biggest fear of anything needle related). Their Starr was so kind and just had the best vibes. Dr. Arne also took time to call me the next day after my surgery to check in how I was.

Dr. Le and the staff are kind, friendly, and professional. I recently had a dental emergency and they were able to bring me in and take care of the issue. Dr. Le took the time to listen to me and spoke directly with me about the situation.
My wife and I will be new patients of theirs, for sure.

I hadn't been to the dentist since I moved to North Carolina (about 10-11 years ago) Dr. Lee and his team provided me with the best care and made me feel comfortable and safe in their hands. I was EXTREMELY nervous (like anxiety attack nervous) & they were so calm and patient with me. Depending on where you live it can seem like a hike to get to their office but I PROMISE you will not be upset after going there. Finding a dentist you trust is much more important then any driving distance. I'm so happy I found Dr Lee!

Extremely annoyed -

It was my fault to begin with for getting "braces" from a dentist and not a orthodontist. After having 6 month smile which really turned into 2 1/2 years of braces and nothing but problems with my teeth after I DO NOT RECOMMEND DR LEE . My filling came off from a chip in my front tooth and he said he couldn't see it and it didn't need fixed . Which is ridiculous bc YES you can see it and the young boy who is working with him said I didn't even have to show him what tooth because he could see it . On top of denying ( basically bc he probably didn't know what to do with it ) I got charged for a "exam" . That's interesting because I was there for 10 mins and there was zero examination done . More like a consultation. I guess I should just be happy that I paid for him not to mess my teeth up anymore than he already has !

Emma is very rough and has an extremely heavy hand. I informed her that she was hurting me multiple times, yet she still continued to use the same amount of pressure. 2 hours after my appointment and my mouth still throbbing and I'm much pain after just a simple routine teeth cleaning. Emma informed me that it was the busiest day of the year and that whey were behind schedule, made me feel like she rushed my visit. My normal experience is always so pleasant and fun. Super disappointed in this visit. :/

I had a dental emergency come up, Dr. Lee and staff worked me in the same day. I ended up having to have the tooth pulled. After I was numbed up, he had the tooth out in just a couple of minutes, I never even felt it!!! Best dentist I have ever been too!!!
